Soul Inspiration – Finding Clarity

Have you ever had a moment in your life where you’ve asked yourself “What the hell am I doing with my life” or maybe you’ve gone to a funeral and it’s triggered you to start questioning your own life.

I know I have, especially after significant events in my life.

I wonder if you stop for a moment, pause, and reflect on your own life, are you happy?

Are you in a career you can honestly say you love doing?
Are you in the best shape you can be in?
Are you in the type of relationship you want to be in?
Do you like the person you have become?

As I sit and write this blog today I am celebrating the birth of my first grandchild, a beautiful little girl who the world can now call Ava.

I’m still in awe. She is the most precious gift and our lives have been enriched and changed forever. The female body is truly incredible, how women can grow another human inside themselves and then what the body has to go through to bring this tiny human into the world, a gift, many take for granted, it truly is phenomenal.

Having been through childbirth three times myself and now witnessing my daughters experience, it’s true, every woman is different. While you can share your birth stories or maybe your weight loss stories, there may be similarities, but each experience is different. What works for one woman may not work for another. We have these amazing hormones in our body that create different experiences. That’s why there’s not a lot of research done with women, too many variables.

I remember when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was 20 years old, 5 years younger than my daughter who just gave birth, I didn’t know a thing about babies or about being a mum.

I was super lucky and grateful I had my mum to be there to help me.

I’ve said this a lot over the last couple of weeks, ‘You don’t know what you don’t know’

There’s a learning experience in almost any situation. You have to be willing to try something new or do things differently because you don’t know what you don’t know.

It’s learning and growing. Now I can share my wisdom with my daughter and she will do the same with her daughter.

So let me go back to my opening statement, has there been a moment in your life where you’ve asked yourself, what the hell am I doing with my life?

Are you happy in all areas of your life, career, relationship, health and within yourself.

Life doesn’t happen to you, life happens for you, that’s where the magic is, you get to create your life and it starts with what’s going on in your mind.

Your mind is stronger than the body and your body will go wherever your mind tells it to, what gets in your way is limiting beliefs, that’s a whole other blog.

My point is, if you’re not happy, you have the power to change it, you don’t know what you don’t know so give it a go and learn and grow!

All the best, if you need help I’m only one message away!
